So, what does the maid of honor do? The role of maid of honor, or matron of honor is important at weddings as she ensures that the bride is well-assisted throughout the ceremony. The maid of honor actually takes care of most of the things that the bride needs – from holding her bouquet when needed, making sure that the bride’s gown is in place all the time during the ceremony and always supporting the bride.
